About Bill Orr,

Hi and thank you for considering me as your agent for your upcoming real estate transaction. Many people ask me about my background and experience in the field of Real Estate. Here is a brief explanation of my credentials. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

First of all I never claim to have ALL the answers to every situation but I have surrounded myself with a group of successful professionals who have access to the correct answers.

I started in the Real Estate industry in 1982 working primarily with investors on single family and multi-family homes.

In 1984 I began a career with one of the largest builders/land developers in North Carolina, Ralph Squires Homes.

This position lead me to another large builder/developer Niblock Development Corporation also located in North Carolina. I was on site everyday handling the marketing and sales for both companies. I managed to maintain the number one sales position with both companies for a period of twelve years. At the end of my twelfth year I took an early retirement at the age of thirty-seven. I spent the next four years managing my rental properties and three small businesses’, which I eventually sold and moved to Roatan. I have thoroughly enjoyed the past several years here on the island fishing and diving. I have decided that it is time for a new challenge in my life.

My training in the industry consists of thousands of hours of motivational, sales training and sales psychology training. This training was performed by some of the top trainers in the U.S.A.. I am not only a graduate of Dale Carnegie Course but also have worked as an assistant instructor in their effective speaking and human relation courses.

I have conducted sales training for many of the large Real Estate Companies in NC such as Coldwell Banker, Allen Tate Co, Prudential, and many others.

I have always had a wide variety of interests and accomplishments that I feel help to contribute to a well-balanced lifestyle. Some of these include obtaining my private pilot’s license, US Coast Guard Captain’s license for 50-ton vessels, Padi Dive instructor Certificate, real estate licenses in NC, SC and Roatan.

Honesty, Integrity, and loyalty to the client are beliefs that I live and work by.
